Less Hustle, More Heart: February at inJOY
February doesn’t need to be loud.
It can be soft. It can be slow. It can be about coming back to yourself - together.
A lot of us move through our days braced. Holding it together. Managing our reactions. Staying productive, even when we’re depleted.
Here’s a simple heart-centering practice you can try this week — grounded in nervous system care, parts awareness, and secure attachment.
2-Minute Heart Reset:
Place one or both hands on your heart.Slow inhale through your nose. Long exhale through your mouth. As you breathe, notice what part of you is most activated or tired right now.
Then gently offer yourself one phrase of safety: “You’re allowed to be supported.”
This is how regulation starts — not by fixing yourself, but by creating a felt sense of safety inside your own body.

Closing the Year, Opening the Space Ahead: January at inJOY
As we close out this year, we’ve been reflecting on what it has asked of us, and what it’s taught us.
So many of us are tired, not just from full calendars or full inboxes, but from the constant demand to process, react, and optimize everything around us. This year reminded us that rest isn’t only about doing less- it’s about meeting the world differently. Slowing down long enough to let experiences land. Making space for not knowing. Allowing beauty, connection, and stillness to work on us, rather than rushing past them.
That intention is shaping what’s ahead.
We often say “no news, no shoes” at inJOY. It’s simple on the surface- no phones, no headlines, no distractions- but it’s really about something deeper: giving your nervous system a break from urgency and certainty, and remembering what it feels like to just be here. It’s a practice we can carry back into everyday life, long after the session ends.
Gift certificates are available, and if you’re hoping to join us in 2026, we encourage you not to wait too long- space at each event is limited. Tickets are transferable (though not refundable), making it easy to share the experience if plans change.
Kristy is also excited to have been invited to join an outstanding lineup of guest teachers in Lodro Rinzler’s Month of Mindfulness program—worth checking out for practical, real-world mindfulness.
Take the time to invest in you. We’d love to welcome you into the quiet, the connection, and the pause.
